Schenley Park features a mix of beautiful wooded areas and cultural centers where flowering plants grow.   The Urban EcoStewards have worked hard to remove almost all the invasive plants in the area around the Schenley Park Visitors Center, and the gardens around the area are thriving.  Both the park and Schenley Plaza are now home to thousands of heuchera, a native Pennsylvania plant with dark red foliage that will begin to flower as it matures in the years to come.
