Special Events

The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy hosts special events throughout the year to raise valuable funds for our work in the parks.

The Spring Hat Luncheon, held the first Saturday of every May, recently celebrated its tenth anniversary.  Each year, several hundred guests don their finest hats and spend an elegant afternoon in the park.

Madcap Masquerade, held the last Saturday of every October, is a black-tie or costume event where the entertainment is always unexpected but the people-watching is a main attraction.

New for 2008 is the PNC Children's Carousel Tea, which brings families into the park for a tea party, entertainment especially for children, and unlimited free rides on the PNC Carousel.
