Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy receives multiple awards for environmental stewardship
Carnegie Science Center, International Society of Arboriculture, Historic Review Commission of Pittsburgh, Dominion and Pennsylvania Environmental Council all recognize PPC in 2006

PITTSBURGH, PA, -- June 19, 2006 -- This spring, the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy (PPC), the City’s park restoration partner, accepted four awards for its dedication to preserving the four great parks of Pittsburgh.  The PPC was recognized by the Western Pennsylvania Environmental Awards, the Carnegie Science Center, the International Society of Arboriculture, and the Historic Review Commission of Pittsburgh.
