Lunchtime Music
The Schenley Plaza Pittsburgh Live Music Festival has begun, with music under the tent 2 - 3 days a week through October.  Click here for a schedule.

Lunchtime Yoga on Mondays
May 12 - August 25, 12 - 1 pm
Take a break from the stress of the day with FREE yoga classes from certified yoga instructor Heidi Zellie.  A limited number of yoga mats will be available for use.  NOW EXTENDED THROUGH AUGUST!

Lunchtime Yoga on Saturdays
July 5 - 26, 11 am - 12 pm
Put a little relaxation into your weekend with FREE yoga classes from Human Race Yoga.  A limited number of yoga mats will be available for use.

Kids Days
August 17 and September 14, 2 - 5 pm
Featuring unlimited free rides on the PNC Carousel, face-painting, balloon sculptures, and caricature artists plus magic by David Lawrence, puppet shows by Holden Puppets, storytelling by the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, performances by the Steel City Freestyle Footbag Club, and more!

Thursday Night Music with Tangueros de Ley

Wizard Rock Concert
July 25, 6 - 9 pm
The popular wizard rock concerts return to Schenley Plaza for another free show!  The Remus Lupins, the Womping Willows, and the Mudbloods work their magic with Harry Potter-themed rock and roll.

Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Eleventh Stack Read Aloud Series
It's storytime--for adults!  Join us on the last Friday of every month from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. and hear excerpts from books, short stories, plays, and poetry read by Carnegie Library staff.  Themes are as follows:
July 25 - The Elements
August 29 - Hooligans and Outlaws
September 26 - Food Aloud
October 24 - Scary Stories

Klezmer by Ortner Roberts
July 27, 6 pm, September 7, 6 pm, October 5, 6 pm
Ortner Roberts leads Pittsburgh's most celebrated Klezmer group in a celebration of Yiddish dance and music tied to the cantor tradition of the synagogue.

Pittsburgh Filmmakers Movie Nights
Saturdays in August (August 2, 9, 16, 23)
The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy and Pittsburgh Filmmakers are teaming up to show great American films every Saturday night in August.  The family-friendly series will include classics such as The Wizard of Oz, Duck Soup, Grease, and Angels in the Outfield.

Riverhounds Soccer Clinic
August 24
The Pittsburgh Riverhounds present a soccer clinic with coaches and current Riverhounds professional players at Forbes Field.  The Riverhounds are part of the United Soccer League's second division and play their home games at Chartiers Valley High School.

Thursday Night Music with Brad Yoder and his band
August 28, 7 - 8:30 pm

Sundae Flea Markets
September 21 and 28, 12 - 5 pm
More than 60 vendors selling art, clothes, music, crafts, and much more transform the Plaza into an urban marketplace.  The day includes musical entertainment under the tent, local shops offering great sales, and plenty of art and odds and ends for sale.

Thursday Night Music with Flamencos en el Aire
September 25, 7 - 8:30 pm

Squonk Opera's "Astro-rama"
October 15-18
We can't tell you anything about the latest show from Pittsburgh's beloved performance group Squonk Opera except that it's happening at Schenley Plaza as part of Oakland's Light-Up Night and it will be spectacular!  Stay tuned for details.
