Our President and CEO, Meg Cheever, recently attended the White House Conference on America's Great Outdoors in Washington, DC. At the conference, President Obama announced plans to foster a new generation of community and urban parks to give children the opportunity to experience these places. Our Walks in the Woods are returning a little early this year! In addition to our weekly Wednesday-night walks, we have a few special excursions planned that focus on things like butterflies, mushrooms, lichens, and trees. The first walk of the year will be a May 11 mushroom walk in Frick Park. For the full schedule, click here.
