Bricks at Schenley Plaza
Honor a loved one or see your name at Schenley Plaza by personalizing the walkway along the Plaza Oval and tent. For $250, you can personalize up to three lines onto a brick and become a permanent fixture at Schenley Plaza.
Chairs at Schenley Plaza
Schenley Plaza’s movable chairs encourage informal socialization and picking the perfect spot in the sun -- or under the Plaza tent if it starts to rain. For $175, you can personalize a plaque in honor of a loved one and have it affixed to one of the chairs.
Benches at Schenley Plaza
Relax among the beautiful blooms with a wooden bench at Schenley Plaza. Circular sections are available for $2,000 each.
Requests for memorial benches are managed by the City of Pittsburgh. Please contact Mike Gable, Deputy Director of Public Works.
During the parks’ 20th century heyday, sculptor Frank Vittor developed 'dolphin' drinking fountain, distinctive aquatic-themed fountains used throughout the parks. Today, three original fountains remain at Schenley Park Visitor Center, Highland Park and Mellon Park. The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy has replicated this fountain, and new models are now being installed in the parks. You can have a new fountain fabricated, installed, and personalized for $10,000.
