Want a great reason to spend a whole day at the park?  On Saturday, November 6, we're holding our last Urban EcoSteward training of the year, a Planting Techniques workshop, followed by a volunteer activity restoring a stream bank in Nine Mile Run.  The training begins in lower Frick Park at 9:00am and concludes at noon; after lunch, anyone who'd like to stick around can help the Parks Conservancy and the Nine Mile Run Watershed Association clean up the stream.  You can learn more about both these events and register here.

Ever wanted to take a piece of the park home with you (in a non-destructive way, of course!)?  Now you can, with our natural journaling workshop.  You'll learn user-friendly writing and drawing techniques for recording your outdoor observations.  Learn more about the November 13 workshop and register here.
