Other Parks
In 2008, the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy and the City of Pittsburgh agreed that the Conservancy would expand its mission of restoration beyond the four regional parks as time and resources permit. The Conservancy is currently involved in three projects around the city – restoring the walled garden in Shadyside’s Mellon Park, developing a greenprint and scenic overlook in the Hill District, and putting together a long-term management plan for downtown’s Mellon Square.
