Riverview Loop

This winding road attracts thousands of walkers, joggers and cyclists looking for fresh air and exercise. The loop is a two-mile circle around the park lined with shade trees, benches and tables for picnics. Park goers pass the Chapel Shelter, pool, playground and Activities Building. 

Horseback Riding

Once a popular site for horseback riding, Riverview Park still occasionally welcomes equestrians. Its miles of trails crisscross the isolated, wooded paths and hillsides of the park. Riverview Valley Stables, located on Grand Avenue, uses the trails for horseback riding lessons. For more information, contact the stables at 412-766-6678.

Swimming Pool

Riverview’s 5,400-square foot swimming pool and playground make the park a popular family destination. Call the City of Pittsburgh's aquatic information line at 412-594-4645. During the summer, contact the pool at 412-323-7223.
