Special Events

The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy hosts special events throughout the year to raise valuable funds for our work in the parks.

2010 Events

The Spring Hat Luncheon, held the first Saturday of every May, is the Parks Conservancy's signature event.  Each year, several hundred guests don their finest hats and spend an elegant afternoon in the park.  Next year's event will be held on May 7, 2011 at Schenley Plaza.

Target the Parks is a clay target shoot that benefits the work of the Parks Conservancy.  This year's event will be held at the Rolling Rock Club in Ligonier, PA on July 23, 2010.

Past Events

Madcap Masquerade is a black-tie or costume event where the entertainment is always unexpected but the people-watching is a main attraction. 

The Children's Carousel Tea brings families into Schenley Plaza for a tea party, entertainment especially for children, and unlimited free rides on the PNC Carousel.
