Support

Your financial support will help continue the ongoing vibrancy of Schenley Plaza and the Pittsburgh community, and there as many ways to give as there are to enjoy our parks.

Naming opportunities recognize the contributions of Plaza supporters. Businesses can strengthen their corporate philanthropy by sponsoring programming series and events.  Contributions can be made to support the long-term mission, programs, and future restorations of the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy.

You may have your own idea of how you can support Schenley Plaza, and we’d be happy to hear your thoughts.

Your gift can:

  • Help maintain Schenley Plaza as a safe, clean, and welcoming public green space
  • Help keep the Emerald Lawn green, our landscaping lush, and our gardens in bloom
  • Help continue free programming and entertainment for Pittsburgh residents, children and visitors
  • Show you are an active, caring participant in Pittsburgh’s corporate community
  • Show your support for the City of Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, and our city’s great parks

Contributions made to Schenley Plaza through the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy go directly to the item or program that the donor supports. Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy membership contributions or un-designated donations are particularly helpful in supporting the Parks Conservancy as an effective operator of Schenley Plaza and non-profit leader in restoring our great parks.  The Parks Conservancy receives no direct Regional Asset District funding or income from admission sales, so your financial support is greatly appreciated!

Gifts to the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy can be made in a variety of forms, including cash and securities. All gifts and bequests are tax deductible to the full extent permitted by law. Checks and other instruments should be made payable to the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy. The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, identification number 23-2882145, has received federal tax-exempt non-profit status under Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c) (3).  Acknowledgements for your financial contributions will be supplied for your tax records.

The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy is a Pennsylvania non-profit corporation.  A copy of the official registration and financial information of the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy may be obtained from the Pennsylvania Department of State by calling toll free, within the state of Pennsylvania, 1-800-732-0999.  Registration does not imply endorsement.
