The Leslie Park Pool Collective is staging an astronomy extravaganza at the empty Leslie Park Pool: the Deep Sky Urban Star Party. Deep Sky will have professional grade telescopes, folks from Amateur Astronomers of Pittsburgh showing how to use them, Google's Sky Map engineers demo'ing their Sky Map app, plus music and presentations by astronomers. Admission is free--bring a chair!
