Watch Michele Adams' watershed presentation

September 21, 2010 by Parks Conservancy Staff

Michele Adams LectureIf you missed last week's "What's Going On in Panther Hollow?" presentation, we've got you covered! Michele Adams, Principal Engineer and Founder of Meliora Design in Kimberton, PA gave a fascinating talk about watershed planning. She showed examples of how cities like Philadelphia and Portland have integrated storm water management into their city planning, and of how locations from schools to streets can be retrofitted to infiltrate more water. Finally, she showed both small- and large-scale projects that home owners can undertake to manage water on their property.

Ms. Adams' full slideshow is below, along with the audio of her remarks (21 minutes). If you'd prefer to download just the slides, you'll find those here.
