The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy was founded in December 1996 by a group of citizens concerned with the deteriorating conditions of Pittsburgh's historic city parks — places they knew would matter long into the future.
To date, the Parks Conservancy has raised more than $126 million for parks and has completed 22 major improvement projects. Currently active in 22 of the city's 165 parks, the Parks Conservancy has expanded into community and neighborhood parks throughout Pittsburgh. Today, the Parks Conservancy continues to carry on its mission of improving the lives of Pittsburghers by restoring its parks system, thanks to your help.
Thanks to generous contributions from members of our board of directors, $50,000 is available to double the impact of your gift. Donations made between now and December 31, 2019 will be matched dollar-for-dollar.
As 2019 comes to a close, we thank you for your continued support of the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy and the City of Pittsburgh.
