Volunteer Naturalists

Share your love for the parks as a Volunteer Naturalist! Volunteer Naturalists work in Frick Park communicating their knowledge and passion for nature and park history to provide a high quality experience for visitors to the Frick Environmental Center.

Urban Ecostewards

Get the skills to adopt and care for sites in parks or communities as a long-term Urban EcoSteward volunteer. 

Pittsburgh Parks Rx

Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, and others have teamed up to create Pittsburgh Parks Rx, inviting children and adults to get active and healthy by exploring and enjoying their parks.

Earth Day at Frick Environmental Center

Bump in the Night

This annual family fun event encourages kids ages three to nine and their adults to celebrate fall in Frick Park with an evening of non-spooky activities that they can do together.
