On October 27th, 2018, 11 of our friends and neighbors were killed in the Tree of Life synagogue shooting. We at the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy were heartbroken by this tragedy, and stand firmly against this act of hatred and violence.

During such a painful time for our city and our country, we invite you to parks to process, to grieve, to share memories, to be with loved ones, and to heal. Nature has the power to restore. We welcome you to visit to find the strength and love that are so needed right now.

don't miss three stormwater events coming down the pipe

With its three iconic rivers, Pittsburgh is a city defined by water. This abundant resource, though, is a major concern for our neighbors with flooded basements; our public spaces prone to erosion; and our rivers that can become polluted after rainstorms. This month, we invite you to be a part of the solution by thinking creatively about stormwater at three public events.
